I finished Caroline Leavitt’s novel Pictures of You in a matter of days. This is really says something considering it took me two months to read The Poisonwood Bible. Don’t get me wrong, I loved The Poisonwood Bible, it just wasn’t the easiest or quickest read.
While Pictures of You is a really good, quick and easy read, but it is not the lightest subject. Just be forewarned the book is about a horrible car accident where the little boys mother dies. The character development is fantastic as Leavitt describes the grief of the child, the woman who hit the child’s mother and the father.
Trust me on this one, go get this book, you will enjoy it.
