One of the best parts of our beach weekend was having the chance to read. I started reading The Help by Kathryn Stockett on Tuesday on my train ride to Baltimore and finished it Saturday on the beach. This book was perfect for the beach. I literally could not put it down.

This book was fantastic for several reasons. It was easy to read and very captivating. There were parts where I really wanted to cringe at how the characters were treated. There were parts where I laughed out loud and there were parts where I wanted to cry. The author did a fantastic job of catching each character's point of view while keeping their voice distinct. As y'all know from my several book reviews, I love books that change voice, and this one was no exception.

I know many have read this book, but if you haven't, go read it now! Now I can't wait to see the movie!
