As I mentioned yesterday, we got a little snow last night.
It was just enough for my office to close for the day, but not enough for a conference call to be canceled.
At least I got a lot of loose ends tied up. I wish I could say I felt a little more ready for conference. 'Tis the season of stress! At least my conference binder is pretty!
While my day could have been a little more productive, I am glad I had this handy "work at home helper".
Yes, it is a mini plunger. I made fun of Jay when he brought this home. I mean really what would it be used for? Well let me show you.
I stuck it to the back of my phone so I could hear the conference call better. Who thought it would be a good idea to put the speaker on the back of the phone?!?!
It also came in handy to prop up my iPod touch while I was making lunch.
How else was I supposed to look at a recipe and cook at the same time?
Tina @ Carrots 'n' Cake posted about this delicious sandwich today. You can find the original Giada recipe here. After a quick kitchen inventory, I noticed that I didn't have Giada's exact ingredients. Therefore, I substituted Blueberry Jam and Swiss Cheese as my main ingredients. My sandwich was still sweet and savory as both Tina and Giada promised.
After lunch I had a little bit of clean-up. Our kitchen never gets this bad?!?!
Few, all clean!
At least I got something done!
Did you have snow last night? What did you do with your snow day (or would you do with a snow day)?
